GLIMPSES OF A NEW LIFE[/blockquote]
NAME: Foxstar
GENDER: Tom
AGE: 26 moons
CLAN: Shadowclan
RANK: Leader
ARE REFLECTED ALL AROUND YOU[/blockquote]
SHORT DESCRIPTION A orange tabby tom with crimson red eyes.
APPEARANCE:
Foxstar is a very handsome looking orange tabby. His fur isn't dirty and has no scars, besides for the burnt edges on his ears. Other then that, he is a good looking tom. His size is usual, but a lot of times others don't compare him to other cats, just because well Foxstar is different. Not in the way where he is perfect, it just seems he takes a different approach to other leaders.
Foxstar has crimson colored red eyes, from his power of being a fire controller, the eyes seem pretty clear though. They are staggering as well as a mark as to what destruction he can cause. Foxstar doesn't care much for what he looks like, and his power even more so he doesn't care about even though the training he had received was intense.

PERSONALITY:
Foxstar, he's a strange one to say in the least. He isn't the kind of cat who is hard, or too soft on anyone, to say in the least he is very interested in everything and questions almost everything. He's talked to plenty of snakes, birds, and all sorts of canines to know how different cultures. Foxstar is like a professor in his own, and most of all, he speaks to where everyone can laugh, he makes their day brighter, and it almost seems like, he hasn't realized that he lives as a warrior and world is cruel.
People don't see Foxstar using his fire power often, most of the time, he's chatting with birds around that know him, and tend to stay their distance to not get hunted. Foxstar is well aware he can hear the animals that he hunts, but it doesn't bother him because it's a way of life, it made no difference to any cat who can't hear them, so why now. Foxstar is more or less afraid to use his fire power, though properly trained by his father. Foxstar, spends his time, learning more about everything, to make sure his clan is safe.
The dark side, it isn't one thing that a cat would want to see. More or less, on the inside Foxstar lost his sense of innocence a long time ago after his family died. He doesn't let no cat see this side, and more or less you could consider it a curse. Foxstar can be agitated, he can be ruthless, and he won't show mercy in his way to see fit. Emotions become well put out of the way, and the cold stares towards his enemies seems to put them at a stand still, this is him telling them to back off, telling them that this is his world and they must listen to him or he will tug their heart out. Foxstar, is who this dark sided tom, when his clan is in extreme need, and when it is time more or less, to put ignorant cats in their place out of the clan.

FAMILY:
Mother: Emberstone
Father: Falconeye
Brother: Willowpaw
HISTORY
Kithood
Foxkit and Willowkit's mother died when they were not old enough to remember her. The only thing the young brothers had to go off of, was their father's words and stories about her. Foxkit got his fire power from his mother, and Language from his father, Willowkit got Empathy from his father and had the uncanny ability to read the stars as if Starclan sent out messages in them. The two kits were the only thing they had, besides for their father and Foxkit, was a rather enthusiastic kit about everything. Once he turned a moon old, he was able to speak with birds, though he could only pick out a few words, the culture of them intrigued him, and more often then not his father would have to drag him back to camp because he would wander off in search of a sparrow to talk to. Willowkit was more of a strong tom who was only interested in gaining as much power as he could to one day become leader. It was his life long dream, rather then being the usual warrior. Foxkit and Willowkit were close to each other, they leaned on each other when each needed it and Foxstar wanted to help Willowkit get his dream of leading the clan one day. Though Foxkit had always had a better connection with nature, he still looked after his family with all he could. Falconeye was a normal warrior of Shadowclan, and he didn't grieve so much over his mate's death because he had to look after his boys. Falconeye was always a stern tom, who seemed to be a mother as well as a warrior. Others sometimes made jokes about him and his relationship with his sons, but the tom figured it was all the kits could have after not having a mother. The best he could do was tell stories about Emberstone to them , and they had to decide what kind of person she was off of that. The family looked after their own and Foxkit and Willowkit would often stay together when they could, not being that much apart. Occasionally they would answer in unison, which sort of creeped shadowclan cats out.
Apprenticeship
When Foxpaw and Willowpaw first became apprentices, they didn't expect it to be like it was. Foxpaw's mentor was a cruel tom, who was only interested in making a real warrior out of Foxpaw and teach him some moves that Foxpaw saw as forbidden. Moves that his mentor even used on his clan mates in a friendly fight. Willowpaw's mentor was far too soft, though unsure what to do the she-cat taught Willowpaw all that he needed. Withe Foxpaw's mentor it was hard for the brother to even come in contact with each other. The only reason they were paired with these mentors was because of their powers. Foxpaw and his mentor didn't have a good relationship, they bickered against each other constantly. And though the apprentice was so keen on nature, and interested in other creatures, he and his mentor didn't see eye to eye. Foxpaw would often come home with wounds, which was when he finally met Cresentpaw for the first time. Foxpaw was often in the medicine cats den, and Cresentmoon helped the medicine cat heal Foxpaw, though he had never really talked to her, Foxpaw had seen her around and a few times she was shy enough to move away from him. Foxpaw's friend Tigerpaw though, was a connection he could never afford to lose. The she-cat was a feisty one, she was strong, and a few moons older then him, it wasn't to say at one point Foxpaw had a crush on her. During a sharing tongue session Foxpaw had climbed into the tree's above the camp to try and catch a sparrow that had been making fun of him. Though his small body couldn't reach the distance and he fell off of a low branch right in front of Tigerpaw. Foxpaw only smiled and laughed as she asked if he was alright. Tigerpaw seemed to be the only she-cat Foxpaw attached to after he meet Ravenpaw. Ravenpaw was an omen to the clan of Shadowclan, the medicine cat said so. Foxpaw didn't talk to him often because of that, but knowing the keen apprentice, he wanted to know everything about every little cat. Apparently at the time, Ravenpaw's mother had died at birth and he was the only surviving kit of a litter of four. The tom's father had gone into a deep depression and didn't talk to no one no more, he just Mosley about the Elders den the rest of his days. Foxpaw confronted the tom just once, and Ravenpaw had rejected him, but it wasn't a hostile rejection as Foxpaw thought it would have been. Before he got to confront the tom again, the leader declared Ravenpaw as "dead" After a fight happened between the clans. Where Foxpaw came to the conclusion that perhaps it was meant to be considering he was supposed to be a bad omen. Foxpaw and his mentor never got any better as a few moons passed. And one event, changed the way he looked at things forever. Foxpaw was out training his fire power with his mentor and things weren't going as well as his mentor thought they should be. Foxpaw's mentor yelled at him, calling him names that were beyond the thoughts of the small apprentice, a loser, a failure, and even more. Foxpaw was dearly upset, and went out of camp during the night to try and train his power for himself. Willowpaw and his father had heard prior what had happened, and at the time Foxpaw's mentor was betraying the clan and trying to move against them. Willowpaw and Falconeye tried to find Foxpaw, and when they found him, they interrupted his focus, which led to Foxpaw's fire going out of control, causing a cave explosion. Foxpaw did not wake up for another two days, and when he realized that he had killed both his father and brother, he tried to act as if he wasn't sad over it. Foxpaw recieved a new mentor after that, and he trained his Fire powers properly, but Foxpaw was still not willing to use it so much. That was when Tigerstorm came to him again, she had just turned into a warrior, but the two made a promise, in which to keep close to each others hearts. Tigerstorm was to help to make sure Foxpaw didn't do anything reckless with his uncontrollable power like before, though he had more control, it was still possible for an explosion to destroy an entire clan. Foxpaw agree'd and she was the only cat he showed his dark side to, the anger that had built up in him, reflected off of his families murder upon his own account. It wasn't long after when Foxpaw finally became a warrior.
Warriorhood
Foxfire, as ironic as his warrior name was, was always doing something new. The to the only one who knew the other side to him Foxfire always came off as a cat who didn't connect with cats but other animals. He had spoken with birds, Snakes, lizards and even at one point a wandering wolf dog in the two leg territory. The warrior was loaded with information other cats wouldn't even dream of knowing, different cultures, terms and he even learned the true names of twolegs, which seemed to be Humans by every creature he had spoken to, which was the only thing they all had in common. Foxfire was more or less a awkwardly none social cat, though he made everyone laugh, and not even think that the next thing they could be doing was mourning over their best friend, their lover, or their kits. Foxfire was a handsome tom but he had never really considered things like love. He's sure is easy enough to fall in love with, but whenever he tried something on a cat like Tigerstorm, she would punch him in the face with a paw and think he was joking. So as it stood, it was still a promise made relationship, as well as a friendship. It wasn't long before Foxfire was chosen as deputy. His skills were far polished from any other cat, and no cat disagreed to this choice. Though Foxfire seemed to be aiming to the goal of leader for his dead brothers sake as a dream. Foxfire soon became Foxstar, and since then things haven't changed much, just Foxstar the leader of Shadowclan, wants to protect it more then anything, hiding his dark malicious nature to any who stood in his way of finding the perfect utopia for his clan cats.
