"I had always been apathetic towards everything and everyone"
GLIMPSES OF A NEW LIFE[/blockquote]
NAME: Miharu Rokujo
GENDER: Tom
AGE: 17 moons
CLAN: N/A
RANK: N/A
ARE REFLECTED ALL AROUND YOU[/blockquote]
SHORT DESCRIPTION A apathetic dark tabby tom with silver ghostly eyes.
APPEARANCE:
Miharu is a dark brown tabby tom, with white splashes over him. He has light silver eyes due to his double up powers of wind manipulation and mist manipulation. More often then not, he is rather tall for his age, but even more he has not a lot of muscles. Miharu has had a lot of training from his moons prior, but he didn't care much to pay attention. Miharu's coat color is rather nice, and clean, with a long tail, and even more so his short hair gene, makes him to be very good looking in the least. He has no scars, besides for a slight mark around his neck, hidden in his fur from being choked many times in his kidnappings.
ALWAYS THERE TO GUIDE YOU[/blockquote]
LIKES
Though the night may always follow:;
Star watching has always been a hobby of Miharu. He hasn't really connected much with anyone, and is always alone, so he watches the stars and questions everything he can. The cat isn't one to really care much about anyone or anything, it's just the way he is and was for most of his life. You won't see Mirharu interested in clear weather, stars alone may be a thing he likes to watch, but more often then not he hates the sunlight and bright blue sky, and rather enjoys the rain over anything at all.
May the weather be in your favor:;
Never has this cat liked the clear sky, more or less, he sometimes complains about it, with his habit of having a monotone voice it's hard to tell what he's thinking. Miharu loves the cloudy days, the gloom, and the color gray most of all. He tends to like the rain because it's a good way to get clean, other then swimming. He does groom himself, but more often then not he enjoys relaxing in it. Since he has a strong immune system, he doesn't get a cold often.
And as the wind may blow:;
Miharu loves to be in high places, hills and cliffs, always make him feel at ease. Most of all, he enjoys grave yards, ones that the twolegs have made. Him and his mother used to visit them all the time. In fact his family would bury their dead in them and mark it with stones. Maharu has always had a connection with evil, and the dead, and not much with the living.
DISLIKES:
Fear of fire sits at best:;
Fire, it's the only destruction that seems to strike fear into him. It's a memory all too constructive for him that comes from his parents death. Cats with fire element are more then likely to not get anything from him, he will avoid them more then anything. Miharu hates fire, even if it was to save his life.
And when does the moon shine:;
Miharu may like the stars, but he hates the moon. The moon is too bright like the sun to him, and it signifies the soft impending death of his friend he almost considered his only brother. Miharu hates the moon, and will often not be seen on full moon nights, because he tends to hide from his past, and things that connect to it. It's a past no cat wants to live, or repeat.
With powers at best forbidden:;
The powers of Kira, it is not something to be toyed with, and it's the thing that he dislikes the most. In his past, it was a power that he will never forgive killing the one he is closest to, and those who choose to master it, he despises. Miharu will not ever go near a Kira user, unless they have a reason for mastering the power in the first place just like his friend did. Even then, it's a formidable power Miharu does not approve of, and he does not sit well with it.
FEARS:
And when the past repeats:;
The fear, the despair, all of it past down for generations to each cat. What each truly fears most, is what their past holds, and the secrets they keep. Though many refuse to let it get to them that it is true. It effects more to him then most. The past that repeats itself, is the heaviest omen of all. And Miharu has always been one to look at the past to burden himself with it alone. Miharu has always been one who didn't care about anyone else, when someone is kind to him, he feels hurt and he feels like a jerk when so. The tom hates the past, it haunts him, hovering like a ghost, above not only him, but the death and graves of the war he lived in inside of his family and alone, it was his to burden it. Miharu's fears haunt him in every way possible as he sleeps, as when he forces himself to remember all of it. So as to when it comes to others prying at him, he cares more then not, not to recite what happpened in his prior days as to the next.
Where will he be left:;
Loneliness, stuck within the darkness, not only of the soul, but of the mind. The dark of the night, it isn't compared to anything of being left alone in a void of what once was. Miharu is afraid, he is afraid of being alone, and isolated from even himself. Yet, even though this already stands to reason, the cat feels the same, as the stone falls into the lake, he can still say that he hates being alone, though he is alone with cats like wise. It isn't entirely what he means to be, but the thought of it, terrifies him. When he looks back on brighter days, it only makes the days, that much worse. So what would it be worth to him, if he wasn't alone, or is he was?
POWERS:
Wind elementalist
Mist Manipulation
PERSONALITY:
So suffer, into Apathy, of contemplating death:;
Miharu has never been one to care for others, or anything for that matter. He doesn't know why, or how it began, it just sits as it stands. Though this may be true, he may be Apathetic, but he isn't cruel. Creatures all around him deserve a chance to live, and he believes it's in his best interest to help them. Though, wishes as is enough, he wishes to grant something, but even, if though the world he lives in is as it stands, the cat has qualities, that even he can't see himself. Miharu has the factor, the monotone voice, and then the decidable fun he has sometimes. The cat has always and will be apathetic in his eyes, and he knows this, but it does, keep to what it's standing. Miharu suffers, on the inside, he keeps secrets from himself in all reality. In the dreams that he has, the reality is all fake to himself. For when he was targeted even at a younger age, always running, it was always the same. The suffering secrets, that he keeps inside his worried soul sit there and rot at the bottom of his soul.
Miharu is always questioning himself, but never others. Whenever is someone is kind to him, it hurts, and he feels odd doing so. Even though it's a questionable event, he doesn't feel worthy being kind to in any event of his life. Miharu would rather put himself out of his way for others. He doesn't want others to be kind to him, he doesn't want them to feel sorry, or to help him. It's just how he believed himself to be, and even after all this time, it stayed that way in his mind and body slowly breaking down on themselves in his world.
And to who he stands by, to who he knows:;
Loyalty, in friendship, all the sacrifices he makes. They all seem to be for the connections he has. Even though they may not believe it, though they may be cut short on the end of the line, he makes all decisions to keep them safe. Rather then thinking about his own well being, those he cares about most are those who need the most care over any other creature. Even as he passes a crying soul, if his friend is in danger, he goes to his friend first. In the mysterious ways he acts, the apathetic one, must only understand, to be forced to get to know one, of his own past connection, to those of the connection that is now.
Though his friends see it as foolish, as if they were here for nothing Miharu sacrifices all that he can for them in any event. Though he could have been yelled at a few times. It was obvious his teacher was the same way when it came to these events. Call it acting without thinking for action, Miharu doesn't like the destcruction of others, and he would even kill himself, to make sure the others would be safe. For he didn't like the attention in the past, which was another reason why he left and is still avoiding the past he must always remember.
The past, the present and the future:;
Miharu has stuck in the past of his own regret in mind. Even if he were to die, he feels as if he is to stay where he is at in the world of his meaning. Miharu doesn't like the past, though he refuses to let himself forget it. His friends know this all too well. His friends know who he is and where he stands, as to where they see his suffering, it's to an extend where he knows what is best for himself even though in the end it only hurts himself. Miharu only locks himself in the past events he thinks he could have fixed. And as such, he keeps it to stand where he will only talk about tomorrow, and he will always think about yesterday. That's the cat he made himself to be in his days and those to continue.
Miharu doesn't believe he's going against himself in this manner, he believes he's saving himself from his fear of repeating the past in itself. He forces it upon himself, to avoid the pain of tomorrow, to avoid it coming at him for his friends. And even so as it stands, he won't ever convince himself otherwise.
The secrets, to hide, and to hold:;
Miharu hides secrets even from himself, he has the power to be a great leader in which he was chosen to be as a kit. He was supposed to lead everyone to a brighter future, and he would have done it, if not for the thoughts and events that collided with him, it almost seems like his leadership qualities were passed right through him, and locked inside a brain washed quality in which he keeps it from himself. He forces himself to believe otherwise, in which traps him into a true reality, that was created for the benefit of his own future.
His secrets are held dearly to him, and you could call it a lie within his own catastrophic event. Yet, Miharu doesn't seem to think so, those who push him over the edge, it may just be enough to break him of all his fear, of all the flaws that he see's in himself, that are there, and those who aren't there.

HISTORY
The story may have started later in life, but where does a life begin without two ends? Miharu has no memory of his parents, nor of their death, though he went to their funeral, he still doesn't know what happened the first four moons of his life. Miharu was always born different, his family was rather large, a group of cats that was always dire to the Kairoshu cats. The Rokoju cats were as formidable, and therefore, they were needed to be eliminated. Miharu was to be the next heir to the Rokoju, the son of a king and of a queen. The kit was targeted from the start since the family was so powerful, their powers full of rare's. His family was always on the run, always trying to avoid getting their son killed, and it wasn't until the Kairoshu finally assaulted them, when his story finally began. The kairoshu cats, the attacked them without warning, and they were forced to run for their life worth. Daren was the one carrying the kit, as the parents followed. Gao, Miharu's father was the first to be killed. That being said, Daren gave Miharu to his mother and told her to run as fast as she could. Where he was left behind to try and stall the enemy. Shinu had managed to clear some distance between her and the enemy, but in the end they got her, and the boy was cradled in her arms. As Daren showed up to protect the kit, her mother told him to forget everything, to forget that he was being targeted, to forget that the events had ever happened. For some reason, it flashed out of his memory, and he did forget. Daren left Miharu at a foster family and he hid himself, for Miharu lived with that family for most of his life.
Miharu's foster family was part of the Rokoju clan, but, they kept it hidden of his royal bloodline, and he kept it that way. He helped his family as story tellers throughout the days. He had always been one not to care, but also, he could easily act cute, and then play a prank. Quit frankly, it was funny as ever to his family, and he was happy with the choices he made all along. The culture of the Rokujo was the same as their rival, but little did Miharu know that he was being targeted constantly. That was until things started up again when he met with Kairen, a older white tom with red eyes, and albino if you wish to say. Kairen was mistaken as the heir to Rokujo, and the Kairoshu tried to kill him. Miharu found them in time, and Daren showed up to save them. Miharu and Kairen ended up running from a group of the Kairoshu cats and Daren was left to protect, when they got to the main center of the territory, Daren started speaking to Miharu. Telling him he had a duty to rise to the top of all the Rokoju and Kairoshu cats and become the savior of them all. Naturally Miharu could care less about their business, and vanished, until of course one of the Kairoshu cats kidnapped him. The same night Daren and Kairen found him. Miharu agreed to join them to train in this strange fighting ways, but he never agreed to be the leader of all the cats. Daren took what he could get with his student, and after they saved him, brought him for a good nights rest for the next day. Miharu's first day of training wasn't exactly exciting to per say. He had fun playing with Daren's mind using his cuteness, and him and Kairen had a few laughs every now and then. Yet when Kairen asked Daren about Miharu he quoted, "Miharu may be apathetic and conceding, but he isn't one to let others just sit and suffer." Meaning to Kairen, though Miharu was a monotone monster of sorts, he wasn't cold hearted. In that same day, a cat from farther lands, a light colored orange tabby she-cat appeared to see who the heir to Rokoju was to make sure he was acceptable. She first mistook is to be Kairen, but then realized, it was Miharu and almost couldn't believe it. Though once Toma started talking about beating him in battle, he disappeared again. When they finally found him, Toma said she would take him to her own group lands to train, though she had to fight with Daren over it for it to actually work. The four of them traveled to the group, but what they found at the hidden camp, was more then a massacre. It seemed it was the Kairoshu again, trying to find Miharu's location, when a young tom was about to be killed, the four found the man. But, before Daren could do anything about the man, a Kira user known as Yoite showed up. Yoite was a mysterious fast moving tom, with dark colored tabby skin, he looked like Miharu, but he was older by at least 10 moons at most. Yiote killed the young tom who tried to escape and him and his boss sat together. As Toma charged him, Yiote knocked her out, and broke Kairen's left front leg. After Yoite got hold of Daren, Miharu realized he was a Kira user, throwing his own life away to try and get at him. Miharu almost gave himself up, he didn't like seeing the others suffer, though he didn't know what was going on, he knew he was the target. Daren yelled at him for thinking such a thing. Miharu yelled out as he watched his teacher being killed in front of him, right in time though, Daren's friend Frostbite showed up and managed to throw Yiote off, and the group managed to escape. Though Miharu didn't know who this yoite cat was, it still bothered him that he had such a frightening power. Though, it wasn't long before he came in contact with the tom again. Yoite lied to Miharu, telling him that he had his teacher and his friend held captive, and he had no choice but to when he took over as king, to hep Yoite in every way he could, to erase him himself. Miharu didn't know what it was about Yoite, and why he was doing this, but he agreed, not just because he was afraid for his friends lives, he wanted to help Yoite for some reason. Miharu decided to keep this decision a secret from his friends and especially his teacher. This was when they encountered a she-cat name Julian, with the Yusu ability, she baffled the entire group blackmailing them to kill a certain tom because she knew who Miharu was. With the group on the tom, it was more to deal with Daren, as to with Miharu, he went after Yoite who was tempted to kill Julian with his Kira power. Miharu stopped him, but instead of stopping just blocked the attack, and it hit his right front leg. Though Daren stopped abruptly and wrapped Miharu up. The teacher was left wondering, what was going on. This was when Toma met her brother that she had been looking for, for moons on end. Toma tried to stop her brother, but in the end, she was hurt badly, and the entire group had to retreat, leaving so they never found out Kairen took out the leader instead. Yet, once they got back Daren's questions were angled towards Miharu and why he had helped Yoite, who was going to die in the first place.
Miharu was only nearly ten moons old when he ran away from his teacher. He joined the Kairoshu cats, not to betray his friends, but more then best to protect them, and get to know Yoite better. The two had an uncanny relationship, often thinking and nearly acting in the same way next to each other. Miharu considered Yoite his bigger brother over time, as he learned more about the Kira user and what had happened to him in his past. Yoite was abandond by his parents when he was younger, around Miharu's age at ten moons old. They thought it was better off if Yoite was dead, that if only he had died on the night their home was raided by a band of rogue's. Yoite was weak, afraid, and sought help from the Kairoshu cats. The Kairoshu cats helped Yoite, for him to seek a better tomorrow, although, that's what he thought. Miharu thought that him and Yoite had a connection, a connection of being alone, and both hated it when others were kind to them when they could give nothing in return. The two carried out missions, and left Daren, Toma and Kairen baffled as to what Miharu was thinking. Though Miharu himself didn't want to get them involved in the first place, and on one mission, it seemed like they were all in trouble. Two cats, a small she-cat around Miharu's age, and a large she-cat that's age was around 45 moons. They tried to kill Miharu, while Yoite was left to protect the tom himself. Meanwhile Toma and Kairen found themselves knocked out and kidnapped, along with Tomajin, Toma's older brother and his best friend Saon. Stuffed into a cave in which there was a large rock that only a earth elemental cat could move. Yoite tried his best, he used his Kira power again, and he himself already knew that time was running out. The two she-cats got to Miharu first and when they tried to get him Yoite threw himself in front, and was badly injured. Miharu dragged Yoite deeper into the cave, to a lower level, where Yoite was almost left death, he told Miharu crying that he didn't want to die. Miharu looked him in the eyes, and instantly knew, that in reality Yoite was hurt and wanted for Miharu to kill him, but he didn't want too die in any other way besides that. Miharu was kidnapped by the she-cats, and the group ended up in the same room as Toma, Kairen, Soen and Tomajin. The cats were going to be used in a plot to attempt to gain power over the Rokujo clan, but Daren eventually came to their rescue, when revealed Kairen was a revived cat from the dead after his father had resurrected him. Miharu felt betrayed and used by his friends, and felt he could only trust his dieing brother like friend Yoite. The two ran away together, though, this wouldn't end as well as Miharu thought. Miharu though now was around 14 moons old, never wanted to give up on Yoite. They made a promise to each other that Yoite would not die until Miharu could grant his wish. When winter came, it was Yoite's last week alive, the two had been running for ever, and had ended up near clan territory. As Miharu called out his lost friends name as his mind deterioration, Miharu vowed to not leave his side for Yoite to come back, but it was already too late, the week prior Yoite had become very sick and had been coughing up blood. Yoite died in the snow, and Miharu for the longest as he could remember, mourned over his death for over two days without eating. When Miharu finally buried Yoite, he vowed to never let the past repeat itself, he felt as if he and Yoite were the same, and that just like a brother he understood Yoite's pain, and so Miharu ended up in the clan grounds.
Miharu is now 17 moons old, still young, but has gone through so much. With his wandering days, Yoite still sits at the back of his mind, and he still wants the long lost cat to come back. Though he can't bring the dead back to life. Miharu is also hoping, he will be able to see his friends one day once more. He doesn't really care much for his teacher, but Kairen and Toma deserve a lot more from what the young tom had witnessed in his life time.

NICKNAME:Riv
WHY YOU JOINED: To try something new
HOW YOU FOUND US: Myself
ROLE PLAY SAMPLE:
[For fun, I'll do a sample of Yoite's death, because as the story is touching, it is sad and compelling at the same time]
They had been running for who knew how long, moons maybe, but Miharu knew, Yoite was fading. Though it didn't mean he would give up on him, they had made a promise, Miharu wanted to keep that promise. Even as he supported the older cat, he could feel the cold feeling of death, through his darkened limbs. Miharu looked at Yoite, his eyes hardened, they needed to get through this, they WOULD get through it even if it cost his life. The tabby flicked his tail a bit as he pulled forward, when Yoite spoke. "Miharu, just...leave me here, get out yourself" Miharu stiffened as they stopped. "No, what are you saying Yoite, I can't, we made a promise" Yoite seemed dark and distant, but, he gave a slight smile to his best friend. "I can't thank you enough for what you've done, but I'm not worth it, there's no way I can repay you if your so kind, you know how that feels" Miharu teared up as Yoite dropped into the snow. The sky was covered, and there was nothing in site. "I don't care Yoite, I'm not leaving you here, you don't know how much you mean to me" Miharu yelled out loud. He pressed his head against the cat's flank, shaking him. "Don't die Yoite, not here!" tears falling on his cheeks, the young tom waited, as Yoite's breathing shallowed he looked at Miharu, with transparent eyes, the look of death within him. "Miharu, you have to go without me, I won't....last much longer, I can't thank you enough but" Miharu cried at the cats side, as he looked at his friend. "You can't Yoite, you can't die, after all we went through, I promised, YOU promised you wouldn't die, before I found a cure." Yoite finally settled himself up and looked at Miharu, giving a kind and friendly smile. "Miharu, you are a strong cat, and have a lot of life in front of you, I chose to throw mine away with the Kira power." Miharu looked at him. "Miharu, understand this, I won't forget you, but please, just stay with me until...." Yoite fell and went limp slowley. As Miharu clinged to his friend in the cold snow. "YOITE, YOITE NO, YOU CAN'T NOT NOW" No matter how much he yelled, he cried, he tugged, Yoite no longer moved. Miharu curled into a ball next to Yoite, his body small in comparision. This couldn't happen, not to Yoite, not when they had gone so far and gotten to this point. Miharu still cried, as he dug his claws into the fozen tundra, he didn't want to move. Miharu, yoite was the only one he had cared so much for, like a brother. Miharu hadn't been a cat to care much, but neither had been Yoite, and the two, had memories to pull against. Miharu hid his face, what would happen next?
